Hans  Adventure Resort:

Hans  Adventure Holidays is an Adventure Resort Located at Kolad (Maharashtra, India) at 135 kms from Mumbai and 110 kms from Pune. HANS is located on a nine-acre farm with a mango and cashew plantation. It touches a beautiful lake and is surrounded by farms, hills, forests and waterfalls. The lake water flows perennially in to a brook which caresses three sides of the farm, before cascading into a perennial waterfall. In the mist of this is a farm house and tented accommodation.

The Hans  farmhouse The Revival,  has two bedrooms, a large hall and two terraces, a homogenous group of upto 16 pax can be accommodated in The Revival. HANS also offers tented accommodation in multi coloured canvas tents pitched on cement platforms. (4 persons per tent). Each tent has a bathroom and a toilet attached with cold running water and hot water provided separately. Electric fans available at extra cost between March to May.

Generally Punjabi and Maharashtrian dishes are available. Gujrati & Continental food can be arranged with prior intimation. Farm house occupants are served food in the verandah and the tent occupants are served in a gazebo. 

How to Get There:

It is 135 km from Mumbai. State transport buses are available for Kolad from Bombay Central /Borivli /Thane ST depot.Self-driven vehicles take upto 3 hrs to reach Hans.

From Pune it is 110 Kms. Via Pirangut, Paud, Mulshi-Vile. State transport buses are available from Swargate. Self driven vehicles take upto two and a half hours; roads are good and the drive is through beautiful countryside along the Mulshi lake. At Vile get on the Kolad Roha highway and reach Sutarwadi (11kms.) 

By Rail:

HANS is located 13 kms. from Kolad Rly. stn., which is on the Konkan Railway. Train departs from CST (Mumbai VT), Diva and Kurla; departure timings need to be determined. Rickshaws are available from Kolad Rly Stn.; with prior intimation car pick-up can be arranged at extra cost.

From October to end May regular to / fro ferry services operate from Gateway Of India (Mumbai) to Mandwa; ferry charges vary from Rs. 50/- to Rs. 100/- per person.
